How do I earn a Badge?
Course Badge
Upon successful completion of a course, you will automatically receive a participation badge to showcase your engagement and effort. The badge will also be accessible in your dashboard and personal profile.
How do I earn one?
- Complete the post-test to assess your progress.
- Submit the course evaluation survey to provide feedback.
The link to the Badge can be shared on social media to showcase your achievement.
How do I earn a certificate?
Only government officials from developing country Members or Observers with an approved nomination form are eligible to the certification.
To earn a certificate, you must complete all required activities in the course, including:
- Achieving a minimum of 60% on the post-test to unlock access to the final exam
- Passing the final exam with at least 60% (you can retake the final exam up to three times per year if the score is below 60%)
- Submitting the course evaluation survey
Types of certificates awarded
Certificate of Achievement: Awarded to participants with a score between 60-89% on the final exam.
Certificate with Distinction: Awarded to participants with a score equal or above 90%.
Specialization Award: Given if you complete all courses in a Learning Programme/Series.
How can I download my certificate?
You can download your certificate from:
- The course page, under the Certificate section.
- Your personal profile, under Miscellaneous.
A confirmation email is also sent once you complete the course evaluation survey.
How to reissue a certificate?
If your certificate contains an error (e.g., name change or typo), you can request a reissue, and a new version will be available in your profile. For certificates issued before December 2022, please contact elearning@wto.org.
